Early Life

Jeany Spark was born on born on November 7, 1982, in England, United Kingdom. She was raised by her parents in Harpenden, a town in the St Albans City district.

Her father and mother still reside in Harpenden. She belongs to Caucasian ethnicity and British nationality.  

She studied English Literature at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, in 2004 and eventually completed her graduation in a First Class Honours degree from in 2007.

She then attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she graduated with a first class in English Literature.

Career as an Actor: Movies & TV Shows

Jeany Sparks made her acting debut with a BBC adaptation of Thomas Hardy's in 2008. She played a school teacher Mercy Chant in the adaptation.

She then portrayed a homeless girl in the third episode of , , in 2010.

Likewise, she appeared in an episode of the anthology series ,  in 2011. In the same year, she played Joan Malin in a drama film directed by Dan Zeff, .

In 2013, she appeared as a deputy headmistress in the Channel 4 comedy series in 2015, she portrayed a Detective Inspector Kate Gemmill in the BBC drama.

One of her most popular works includes the BBC Two miniseries  (2018) in which she portrayed Captain Sandrine Shaw alongside Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx and Jada Pinkett Smith.
