Vijay Mallya was born in Bantwal, Mangaluru, India on the 18th of December in the year 1955. His father, Vittal Mallya, was a businessman. Vijay did his schooling at La Martiniere School, Kolkata after which he joined St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He completed his graduation in the year 1970 with a degree of Bachelor of Commerce.
