Peter and Paul Okoye were born in the year 1981 on 18th November. They were born in Jos, Nigeria, and yes, they are twins. The twins had many similarities, and well, they made a career in the same industry. Paul and Peter joined the music and drama club at their school. The two were interested in music and acting. They even started imitating Michael Jackson and Bobby Brown.
Since Michael Jackson was their idol, they started doing break dancing and formed a group called ‘Smooth Criminals.’ Peter and Paul used to perform at functions in schools and other events. The twins became popular for their extraordinary talent. Little did they know that they would become R&B stars.
In the year 1999, Paul and Peter returned to music and developed their skills by playing drums and guitar. After joining the University of Abuja, the brother formed a band.
Career
When Paul and Peter formed the band in their University, they were unstoppable. The duo released their first-ever album in the year 2001. The duo is famous not only in Nigeria but also the whole of Africa. The brothers are happily married, and they are successful in their career.
