Guide for the Evil Within 2

Guide for the Evil Within 2

Use stealth! This game is very reliant on using stealth, seeing as ammo is extremely limited and enemies are resilient. Be sure to sneak by as many enemies as possible.

Visit the Room! Going back to your Room at every opportunity will let you use your keys, view slides, and visit the crafting bench. Only make ammo at your bench, as crafting in the field takes up far too many resources. However, healing items use the same amount of herbs both in the field and at the bench.

Run away! If you do get spotted (you will) the goal will be to run away from the situation as quickly as possible. Flee until the Lost lose sight of you.

Heal often! Enemies in this game are extremely powerful, able to smack 80% of your health off in a second flat. Stay at full health and heal often, there's no point in finishing the game with 100 unused herbs.

Start on Nightmare! I'll reiterate this point soon, but make sure you start playing on Nightmare difficulty in order to save yourself a playthrough.

Collect supplies! Crafting materials are vital, so don't bypass them. You'll need as many nails, weapons parts, gunpowder, and green gel as you find throughout the game. Don't ever assume you have enough, but don't put yourself in danger to get things you don't really need.

CHEAT! Bethesda has since implemented cheats into the game, giving you one hit kills, unlimited stamina, infinite ammo, and other things that make it impossible to lose. All achievements still work normally, so feel free to cheat away.
