Biography
He was born on September 18, 1992, in Japan to Japanese parents living in Osaka, in the Kansai region of Japan, as his parents were working there due to career reasons.
He later moved to the United States and had his education in Brooklyn.
He also attended the Canadian Academy and graduated in 2012. George is half-Japanese and half-Australian.
In June of 2008, he kicked off his career on YouTube and was part of a group called Tempura Boyz. Most of the content he created was based on rants, abuses, and raps on others.
His first YouTube channel is called ‘DizastaMusic,’ where he posts comic content.
The fame of ”Filthy Frank” started to explode when George launched his YouTube channel called ‘TVFilthyFrank.’
The channel was started on the 22nd of January, 2013. The content of this channel features topics like:
- dead animals;
- vomit;
- offensive jokes.
On May 12th, he published a video on his YouTube channel ‘TVFilthyFrank’ in which Miller dances to the song “First of the Year (Equinox)” by Skrillex while wearing the pink lycra bodysuit.

In the year 2014, George created a sub-channel for content that is too offensive for his usual followers. The sub-channel is called ”TooDamnFilthy” and contains some of the worst content available on the internet.
As of late 2017, he had stepped away from the TVFilthyFrank channel and is focusing on his music career, where he has undertaken the name Joji.
Miller explained in an official statement:
“I believe an official statement as to why I am now done with comedy is owed to my former fanbase. Unfortunately, I no longer enjoy producing that content.”
As Joji, his music is traditional, serious, and charming. George specifies that Joji isn’t a character like Pink Guy and Filthy Frank.
Miller uploaded his first public Joji song, “Thom,” to his SoundCloud page.
Under the name Joji, he also released the EP In Tongues, which peaked at number 58 on the Billboard 200.
In May 2018, he released the song “Yeah Right,” becoming his first to chart on a Billboard chart, peaking at 23 on the Billboard R&B Songs chart.
To help with his public transformation into Joji, he enlisted the help of 88Rising, a company that has gained popularity as a musical platform and label primarily for Asian artists.
George points out the label likes “a good challenge.”
George also creates music as Pink Guy, where his songs have lyrics with explicit content and are non-traditional.
He announced a new single named “Run” on 30 January 2020.
