Biography
She was born on June 19, 1963, in Glastonbury, Connecticut, USA, as Laura Anne Ingraham.
Her maternal grandparents were Polish immigrants.
Her father is a WWII veteran, while her mother worked as a waitress.
In 1981, Laura graduated from Glastonbury High School.
In 1985, Ingraham graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
In the late 80s, she worked as a speechwriter in the Ronald Reagan administration for the Domestic Policy advisor.
In 1991, Laura earned a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Ingraham credited Virginia Law classes with sharpening her debate skills.

From 1993 to 1996, Ingraham worked as an attorney at the Wall Street law firm Skadden Arps.
