Brawlidays Patch Notes (25Th January)

Nearly after two months, developers have rolled out an important patch update for Brawl Star which consists of balance changes including nerfs and buffs for multiple Brawlers.

In addition to that, it also provides a detailed insight into the upcoming maintenance updates for both mobile platforms. So, without any further ado, let’s take a look at the Brawl Stars patch notes for 25th January.

Balance Changes – Nerfs

Grom

  • Basic attack damage decreased from 1000 to 900
  • Gadget: Watchtower – HP decreased from 2000 to 1500. Duration 40→20 seconds
  • His super now charges after 6 hits instead of 5

Grom, as a burst damage Brawler has received a huge nerf on his poking abilities. From now on, you won’t be able to inflict a good amount of damage through basic attacks.

Rico

  • Gadget: Bouncy Castle – 250 → 200 heal per bounce

Rico’s healing ability has been reduced.

Meg

  • Super charge takes 8 hits instead of 6

From now on, Meg’s Supercharge will have counters.

Mortis

  • Star Power: Creepy harvest – Healing decreased from 1400 to 1000

Mortis’ healing ability made him overpower support and arguably one of the best backline Brawlers

Stu

  • Basic attack damage decreased from 580 to 540

From now on, Stu might have to rely more on the skills rather than basic attacks due to nerf on the damage.

Speed Gear

  • 15/20/25% → 10/15/20%

Balance Changes – Buffs

Ash

  • Increased his HP from 4800 to 5400

Ash is now mare tanky letting him peel for the team in the frontline during a brawl.

Carl

  • Increased his maximum range from 22 to 25

Due to complicated mechanics, Carl needs to be constantly adjusted. This patch focuses on his ranging ability and slightly buffs it.

Mortis

  • Star Power: Coiled snake – He gains his longer dash 2 seconds faster instead of 1.5

Meg

  • Star Power: Heavy Metal damage increased from 1000 to 1500 dmg
