Hatfield House was designed by Fred F. French in the 1920s and inspired by a Tudor-style palace. A live-in superintendent is on staff, and the buliding has a pair of laundry rooms and a terrace garden. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, and the sublet policy allows apartments to be rented on the day of purchase. Its address at 304 East 41st Street puts it close to Grand Central Terminal and United Nations headquarters.
