Continuity clinic
All categorical residents spend at least four half-days every 4th week at a continuity clinic. Sites include:

- KCVA Internal Medicine
Preliminary residents do not participate in a continuity clinic care experience.
Ambulatory blocks
All residents will have the same ambulatory experience, which is outlined to provide exposure to all of the internal medicine sub-specialties.

Administrative half day session to complete chart review, patient follow-up, completion of ambulatory podscast curriculum, make phone calls, etc.
Board study half day session to complete 20 questions in either Step 3 question bank or MKSAP question bank. During the 2nd half of PGY-3 you will have 3 additional Board review sessions instead of subspecialty clinics that will allow for a longitudinal board prep experience.
Friday School
Longitudinal curriculum on Friday afternoons of +1 week includes simulation, focused clinical exam skills, and high yield presentations to follow our core curriculum lecture series.
