Professional Background

Ka Loong Kelvin Au, M.D., FRCPC, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurology, Movement Disorders Division, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He joined the faculty in August 2021.

Dr. Au graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and completed his neurology residency at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he served as co-chief resident in 2017-18. He also completed a two-year movement disorders fellowship at the University of Florida. During his fellowship, he actively participated in multiple clinical trials for Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Au is certified by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Neurology). His professional affiliations include the Movement Disorders Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
