Professional Background

Dr. Eck grew up in Lenexa, KS with her parents and twin brother. She is a life-long Jayhawk, studying Biochemistry at KU for undergrad. She chose to stay at KU for residency because of the amazing experience she had as a medical student. The staff and older residents are supportive, knowledgeable, and passionate about teaching.

 She got married to her husband, who is an Emergency Medicine resident at KU, in April 2022. In her free time she enjoys eating on patios across Kansas City, going on walks in Loose Park, listening to true crime podcasts, and watching reality tv.
