We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sonya Burke, a beloved friend and dedicated employee of Equine Advocates. Sonya, who served as our Barn Manager for eighteen years, was a cherished member of our team. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends, including Mannie Ramirez, her significant other, during this difficult time of mourning and loss. A memorial service for Sonya will be held on Monday, December 4th at Carleton Funeral Home in Hudson Falls, New York. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. May her soul rest in peace.
