Beyond his contributions to RIM, Douglas Fregin has also made significant strides in philanthropy and scientific development. In 2013, he joined forces once again with Mike Lazaridis to establish Quantum Valley Investments, a $100 million fund aimed at supporting the development and commercialization of quantum technologies.
