Introduction

The legendary movie Interstellar is considered one of the best sci-fi movies in the last ten years. The movie was directed by Christopher Nolan, the mastermind of science fiction. Now, it has been over 8 years since Interstellar was released and the fans are still expecting a second part of the movie. So, the question is, will Christopher Nolan make Interstellar 2? As we have seen all along that Christopher Nolan is not the kind of guy who makes sequels. The only exception is The Dark Knight Trilogy. In his whole career, Nolan has consistently made masterpieces without any sequel. Some of his famous works are the mystery movie Memento, the unique themed Inception, and Interstellar.

A Quick Recap

Before jumping into the discussion about Interstellar 2, let’s have a quick look at what happened at the end of Interstellar. As we have seen in the ending of Interstellar, Copper reunites with his daughter Murphy while she was on her deathbed. In the end, we saw that due to the relative timeframe of the different planets, Cooper is much, much younger than his daughter. Murphy requests Cooper to go back to Amelia Brand (Anne Hathaway). At that time, Amelia was taking attempts to make colonies on Edmund’s planet. We saw in the last scene of the movie, Cooper steals a spaceship and takes his Robo-buddy (TARS) with him, and heads towards the wormhole once again, in order to find Amelia.
