If you've beaten a boss in Valheim you'll know just how tricky it can be. The second boss is Elder, a mammoth tree looking enemy. This is a tough fight, so you'll want to go in prepared. Valheim: How to Summon Elder With Ancient Seeds

To summon the Elder you'll need some Ancient Seeds to sacrifice. You can get a hold of them by destroying Greydwarf Spawners. They can be identified as a pile of bones with purple smoke. Be prepared as they aren't easy to find and can be a task to destroy. As you explore the Black Forest, keep an eye out for Greydwarves, if you're seeing a lot of them a spawner is likely nearby.

Just follow whichever direction they are coming from and it should lead you to their spawn. Greydwarf Shamans and Greydwarf Brutes can drop Ancient Seeds, although destroying spawners will give you more. Overall you need 3 seeds.

What To Take Into the Fight

The Elder is best to take on with a group, it's possible to take down alone but will take many deaths to learn his moves. Make sure to bring along some food buffs with you too. Building a base nearby would be useful too so you can get back into the action if you die. You'll have to set your respawn point to this base temporarily. Bring along spare weapons in case yours break!
