Nearly 70 Sailfish Point residents and guests gathered at the marina clubhouse recently to meet guest of honor, Jack Gerhardt, Executive Director of US SAILING, the national governing body. Jack spoke about the tremendous value of community sailing and the opportunity it provides to grow the sport of sailing and change the lives of the young people who become involved in the sport. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner. A live auction with opportunities to support the community programs of the sailing center followed.
