Quick Answer: How Do You Get Flint Fast

Here is the fastest way is to get flint in Minecraft. The way to get flint is by mining gravel. There is a 10% chance for flint to drop when mining a gravel block. Your chances of getting flint increase when mining with a fortune enchanted tool.

How do I increase my chances of getting flint?

When mined with a Fortune-enchanted tool, this chance increases to 14% at Fortune I, 25% at Fortune II, and 100% at Fortune III. Gravel mined using a tool with Silk Touch or gravel that fell on a non-solid block never produces flint.

Can you turn gravel into flint in Minecraft?

So basically, you can smelt gravel to get 1 flint for every block of gravel you smelt. This would make gravel so much more valuable, and you wouldn’t have to rely on breaking it with a shovel 10000000 times just to get flint.
