In Disney Dreamlight Valley’s latest update, players were introduced to Scar and his questline.
In one part of Scar’s storyline, players are required to get and use a miracle growth elixir.
However, it’s unclear where to get all the necessary materials.
In this guide, I will explain how to craft and use the miracle growth elixir in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Get Miracle Growth Elixir
First, players need to complete the first part of the Nature and Nurture quest, which requires interacting with the barrel in the mines to unblock the river. Leave the mines and a cutscene will play where you will follow a shadow.
The shadow will drop a lifeless orb of nurturing. Talk to Merlin and he’ll mention that to restore the orb’s power, you will need to craft a miracle growth elixir.
To craft the miracle growth elixir, players will need the following ingredients:
- 10 Rich Soil
- 10 Vitalys Crystals
- 1.000 Dreamlight
While dreamlight is easy to get, the other 2 are completely new items. To get rich soil, players need to harvest crops. Any crop will do.
However, the chance of dropping rich soil is fairly small, so players will have to harvest a lot of crops (around 200) for 10 rich soil.
One useful tip is to plant crops that grow fast, like wheat.
As for vitalys crystals, simply mine the dark-and-blue-colored rocks in the new Vitalys Mine area.
The rocks respawn fast and there are a lot of them, so gathering 10 vitalys crystals should only take minutes.

How to Use Miracle Growth Elixir
After crafting the miracle growth elixir at any crafting bench, players will need to activate it.
To use the miracle growth elixir, simply open your inventory and select it from there. A small animation will occur and now you’re ready to progress the quest. Talk to Merlin and get ready for the next part.
