The trails in Reverse: 1999 are optional but are a great way to get more Clear Drops quite easily, everything is explained below.
Chapter 2-3 Tiny Key
You'll only be able to clear this trail after you have completed chapter 2-15 and got the key. Then go back to Chapter 2-3 to complete this trail.
The process of getting the key at the end of chapter 2-15 and then going back to chapter 2-3 and selecting this trail is all you need to do to complete it.
Chapter 2-4 Moving Critter
This trail is all about completing a puzzle, move the critter along the path, passing every destination and avoiding all of the forbidden areas.

Chapter 2-6 Garden Key
Play through chapter 2-12 to get the Garden Key, it comes towards the end of the chapter. When you have it, select the trail in chapter 2-6 and as long as you have the garden key, that is all you need to have this trail completed and to gain the Clear Drops reward.
As with the Chapter 1 trails , these trails are all pretty easy, you just need to know how to discover them. enjoy the Clear Drops and summon well!
