Rodriguez originally shot to stardom in 1992 when she made an appearance on Redman’s “Tonight’s da Night.” Two years later, she collaborated with him once more on his Dare Iz a Darkside album track “We Run N.Y.” After appearing on tracks by everyone from Xzibit to Funkdoobiest, Keith Murray, and Puff Daddy, she released her first full-length Spanglish album, All Woman, in 1997 on the New York-based H.O.L.A.
