Lorenzen Vern-Gagne Wright, better known as Lorenzen Wright, was a professional basketball player in the United States. In the 1996 NBA draft, he was selected seventh overall by the Los Angeles Clippers. He’s played for the Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, and Cleveland Cavaliers, among other teams. He was a 13-year NBA veteran.

Wright vanished on July 18, 2010. On July 28, he was discovered shot to death. Sherra Wright-Robinson, his ex-wife, was charged with his murder in December 2017. After pleading guilty to facilitation of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Lorenzen Wright, his wife was sentenced to 30 years in jail.
