Kevin Joseph Aloysius, better known as Chuck Connors, was born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 10, 1921. He was of Caucasian ancestry and of American nationality. He grew raised with his two-year-younger sister Gloria.

Furthermore, Connors’ father, Allan Connors, became a US citizen in 1914 and worked as a longshoreman in Brooklyn in 1930. Marcella Connors, his mother, became a US citizen in 1917.

Chuck Connors was also a die-hard fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, even though they had a losing record in 1930, and he hoped to one day join the team. In 1939, he received a scholarship to the Adelphi Academy in Brooklyn, from which he graduated. Chuck has gotten further athletic bursary offers from almost two dozen colleges and universities.
