As far as we know, Phil Stutz is the author of The Tools: 5 Tools to Help You Find Courage, Creativity, and Willpower—and Inspire You to Live Life in Forward Motion and Coming Alive: 4 Tools to Defeat Your Inner Enemy, Ignite Creative Expression, and Unleash Your Soul’s Potential. He collaborated on the writing of each of these works with Barry Michels.

The Tool is followed by his novel Coming Alive. Phil Stutz started his career as a psychiatrist at Metropolitan Hospital after receiving his medical degree. On Riker’s Island, he later worked as a prison psychiatrist. Later, in New York City, he creates his own private clinic. His final relocation was to Los Angeles in 1982, when he finished establishing himself as a full-time psychiatrist, mental health advocate, and author.

He has already given mental health advice to some of America’s top authors, performers, producers, CEOs, and other creatives.
