In early July, the actor who played Carlos in the Descendants film died at the age of 20. The new film marked Boyce’s first posthumous release, and it began with a tribute to him.
Jeffery’s Princess Audrey was revealed to be the villain in Descendants 3, but she had fond recollections of working with Boyce on the new film.
