Zack Snyder, the director/producer of the DC Superhero Universe, has brought many model superheroes to the screen, but his favorite is most likely someone very real. Autumn Snyder, his adopted daughter, was unknown to many until the news of her death made the rounds in the tabloids in March 2017.
It was a difficult time for the Snyders at the time, and he had to leave the set of ‘Justice League’ just as the film was wrapping to mourn the death of his beloved daughter. Autumn always stood out for Zack and his wife of 15 years, Deborah Snyder (née Johnson), despite how tough it was to keep track of all of Zack’s eight children.
Autumn decided not to continue in this terrible world and committed suicide at the age of 20 in Los Angeles, California on March 20, 2017. Despite hospital attempts to revive her, she was pronounced dead. Acute Citalopram and Diphenhydramine Intoxication was the cause, according to the LA County Medical Examiner/Coroner (headed by Dr. Young). It was referred to be a ‘drug overdose’ in layman’s words.

He adopted two more children, Sage and Cash, during his second marriage to Deborah. He met her in 1996, but they didn’t start dating until 2002, when she hired him to shoot a Soft & Dri commercial in New Zealand. They married in New York two years later.
Autumn had a tight relationship with all of her siblings and stepsiblings because they were all upset by the occurrence.
