After hearing that Scioscia would be signing autographs the next day and being impressed by his playing style, she and her friend decided to extend their homestand and return with homemade cookies. Scioscia, on the other hand, was not signing as planned.
Downcast, she told Jesse, a Dodger Stadium security guard, that she had brought cookies for Scioscia. Mike was informed by the security guard.
