Hakeem Seriki, better known by his stage name Chamillionaire, was born in Washington, D.C., to a Muslim Nigerian father and an African-American Christian mother on November 28, 1979. He is a devout follower of Islam. Chamillionaire is a Houston, Texas-based rapper, entrepreneur, and investor.

Chamillitary Entertainment is run by Hakeem Seriki, who is also the CEO. Rasaq Serik, his younger brother, is also a rapper on occasion. His big singles “Turn It Up” and “Ridin” have made him a household name.
