Ozuna is the stage name of Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, a Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap artist. He is often referred to as the “New King of Reggaeton.” In August 2017, he released his debut studio album, “Odisea,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums charts in the United States. In the United States, the album sold over 360k copies. In 2017, he made his first appearance on television in the episode Hermanos en la clandestinidad of the musical drama TV series “Guerra de Idolos.” In the film “Que Leon,” he made his acting debut. He began writing songs at the age of thirteen. In the 2000s, he began his musical career by playing in New York City. With the release of his single “Imaginando” in 2012, he began his singing career. He used to go by the stage name “J Oz” early on in his career. In order to gain a foothold in the music industry, he partnered with Musicologo & Menes. In 2014, he signed a deal with the record label “Golden Family Records,” which gave him his first big break. He became popular after the release of his single “Si No Te Quiere”, in 2014.  On August 24, 2018, VP Records, Dimelo VI Distribution, and Sony Music Latin released his second album, “Aura,” which featured collaborations with J Balvin, Akon, Cardi B, and Romeo Santos. He identifies as a “typical boricua with Dominican ancestry.” Enoc, his fourth studio album, will be released in 2020.

Ozuna appears in profile on the cover of the Mexican version, which the artist shared on Instagram, while the singer poses head-on in the Colombian version, revealing some of the tattoos he has on his right arm, including an old microphone, dreadlocks, a handkerchief, and assorted jewels. The cover of both issues of the magazine features the phrase “Ozuna, portraying the Puerto Rican who placed Latin music at the top of the industry.” Bad Bunny appeared on the cover wearing a mask and priority clothing to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
