In 1995, Kasper held various positions and oversaw sales and marketing for firms such as Oracle and DEC. After that, he gained experience and went to work for Compaq. He takes over as president of Compaq Enterprise Business Group. He worked with Compaq from 1995 to 2001.

After leaving Compaq, he joined HP (Hewlett-Packard) in 2002 as Vice President and General Manager and remained there until 2004. Kasper continued to work for several firms after this, and in 2016 he became the CEO of the Adidas group. He will continue to work for Adidas until 2026.
