Hal David was a renowned American lyricist born on May 25, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY. He is best known for his collaborations with Burt Bacharach, which resulted in the hit song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" and many other popular songs. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1971 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
