Katie Piper is an English model and television presenter born on October 12, 1983 in Andover, England. She is best known for surviving a horrific acid attack in 2008 orchestrated by her abusive partner, Daniel Lynch, and carried out by Stefan Sylvestre. Despite her ordeal, she has gone on to host a Channel 4 series called Katie: My Beautiful Friends, which focuses on disability issues.
