Ashley Rae Morrill was born in August, Maine, the United States to her father Eric A Morrill and mother Peggy Morrill. Her father, the eldest of ten siblings, attended Augusta schools and graduated from Cony in 1965. Following graduation, he joined the military and served in Vietnam and Germany, among other places.

Eric met his wife, Peggy, while stationed in Germany. He did, however, return to Maine with his future wife and settle there. Eric and Peggy tied the knot in August of 1970.

Ashley’s parents both went to the University of Maine at Farmington. Eric died in 2014, leaving behind his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.
