Colombian actor Manolo Cardona Cardona was born on April 25, 1977, in Popayán, Cauca, Colombia. At the age of seven, Cardona’s relatives dubbed him “Manolo,” which he would use as his stage name. Manolo came to Cali, Colombia when he was 18 years old to finish his education in finance and international relations. Nancy Molano, Manolo’s mother, is a psychologist, trader, and astrologer.

Enrique Javier Cardona was born in the Colombian town of Popayán. His father, Enrique Javier Cardona, ran for office and served as mayor of Popayán. Juan José studied film direction at the University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain, while Francisco is an agent and engineer. Among his favorite interests is playing football (soccer).
