Heather Deen Locklear is a well-known American actress best known for her role as Amanda Woodward in the American soap opera ‘Melrose Place,’ which was one of the most famous TV shows in the early 1990s. Locklear won the ‘First Americans in the Arts’ award for Best Actress for her work in the series. Her first notable role was in the 1980s American soap opera ‘Dynasty,’ which aired on the CBS network. The Carringtons, a wealthy family from Delver, Colorado, were the focus of the show. She graduated from high school in 1979 and enrolled in the University of California, Los Angeles, where she planned to concentrate in psychology. However, she had a hectic schedule that included modeling jobs and working in TV advertisements, making it difficult for her to focus on her academics. As a result, she stopped out after a year to focus solely on her acting profession.
