Joaquín Sabina was born in Ubeda, Spain on February 12, 1949. Spanish singer and poet with more than four decades of professional experience and over a dozen successful albums. The award-winning artist has also released several poetry books since his debut in the 1970s. In 1998, he released the album Enemigos íntimos in collaboration with Fito Paez. He was fourteen when he began writing poems and composing music. He was also a member of the band Merry Youngs which emulated stars like Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry.
