Murray’s wakeboarding career began in 1995 and was full of innovation and achievement, including many Pro Tour and World Championship titles. During the summer of 2004, Murray dislocated his knee while riding. He tore down his ACL, PCL, and MCL. He was told after reconstructive surgery that he might not ride again. But he was back riding a few months later. He helped develop signature products, including boats, wakeboards, life jackets, wet suits, and clothing lines. Murray has had dozens of wakeboard titles in his career spanning from 1998 to the present (2020). Murray was an American Ninja Warrior TV show contestant in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018. In 2015, he finished 25th in the qualifying but was eliminated at the 7th obstacle in the city finals.
