Who is Melvoni?
Melvoni was born and raised in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York in the year 2003. In 2019, he turned 16 years old and celebrated his birthday.
His father was deeply entangled in gang culture and street life. But he persuaded Melvoni to leave that life behind and pursue something more meaningful. His mother, on the other hand, made him swear that he would never join a gang.
He was raised in a Jamaican family with a strong Christian faith. His grandmother dragged him to church against his will, even though he is a devout Christian. Melvoni is the younger brother of aspiring rapper Lil TJay, who goes by the stage name Tione Jayden Merritt.
In terms of ethnicity, he proudly declares that he is of African-American descent and holds American citizenship. Melvoni went to Crown Heights High School in Brooklyn, New York.

Melvoni told Genius that as a child, he preferred drawing and dancing to singing. However, he had never considered pursuing a career as an artist.
Melvoni was inspired to create music as he grew up and became more familiar with the neighborhood he grew up in, as well as the street lifestyle that almost enticed him to get involved. He devoted a lot of time to singing and writing.
