Gaia Wise- Biography

Gaia Wise is a Greenpeace campaigner and actress. She is well-known for her roles in films such as ‘Last Chance Harvey’ and ‘A Walk in the Woods.’ Gaia is best known as the daughter of Emma Thompson and Greg Wise, both actors. She has made countless public appearances with her famous mother, who has won several ‘Academy Awards.’ After a journey to the Arctic Circle, Gaia, named after the Greek goddess of the Earth, vowed to battle climate change. Wise, who is eager to follow in her mother’s footsteps, is currently concentrating on her further education, among other things.

Gaia Romilly Wise was born to Emma Thompson on December 4, 1999, in England, United Kingdom. She began hogging the spotlight at a young age as a result of her parents’ notoriety. She was enrolled at the famed ‘Highgate School’ in North London, where she grew to be known as a focused and hardworking student. Gaia has always been fascinated by her mother’s work as an environmentalist and ‘Greenpeace’ activist. Her life altered radically in 2014 when she accompanied her mother on a ‘Greenpeace’ excursion to the Arctic Circle.

Gaia became interested in climate change after the journey and wanted to join millions of others in their battle against it. Her anti-climate-change campaigns, however, did not go down well with some of her classmates, who began tormenting her by labeling her a “hippy.” This became one of the reasons for Gaia to drop out of school. After her father constructed her a school room’ in the middle of their yard, she was homeschooled with the help of private tutors.
