Jeffrey Lee Detrow was born to their parents: Donald Lee Detrow’s father and Shirley Detrow’s mother in his hometown of Wooster, Ohio. Originally from Litchfield, Don transferred to Wooster as a freshman in high school. Don worked for the City of Wooster for 38 years as he rose from a surveyor to a director of administration. However, almost no details have been shared with his mother.

More about Jeffrey’s parents: Don and Shirley were sweethearts in high school. The couple went on a prom together in high school, too. His parents were married on January 25, 1952. The couple remained together for 63 years. Jeffrey grew up with his two brothers, Jon Detrow and Don Detrow. Although Jon remains out of public view, Don attended Henry Ford Community College and lived in Kettering, Ohio.

Unfortunately, on 26 November 2015, all three brothers and sisters lost their beloved parents. He had complications caused by cardiac surgery.
