Joe Onosai was born in Samoa on December 10, 1965. Strongman athlete who was a veteran of the World Strongman Challenge, taking home the bronze in 1999. He was also an NFL player who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1987. He and Finland’s Riku Kiri both medaled at the World Strongman Challenge. He was voted The Advertiser’s ILH Offensive Player of the Year at University Lab School and later played at the University of Hawaii at Manoa on scholarship.
