Miya Ponsetto was born on May 27, 1998, in New York City. In 2021, she will be 22 years old. Miya is a Gemini by birth. In 2021, she was residing in California; this may have been her hometown.

Miya Ponsetto’s parents were also caught up in the “assault” situation and had to deal with the media and the police. Nicole Ponsetto, Miya’s 43-year-old mother at the time, was pulled over by Ventura County Sheriffs in the town of Fillmore, California. However, the reason for the two patrol cars’ stop was unknown.

Miya’s father did not appear to be particularly involved in the matter. According to reports, his name is Eric Ponsetto, and he was 49 years old at the time. Concerning her family, Miya has a brother who reportedly deleted his Instagram to avoid commotion.

Miya identified as Puerto Rican when asked about her ethnic origins. She stated in her Instagram bio that she is “Just a Greek girl.” Additionally, she stated on her ask.FM page that she is a mixture of “Italian, Puerto Rican, Greek, and Vietnamese” nationalities.

Many argued that just because she is Latina does not excuse her behavior and that she can still be a racist.
