Career
The New York Giants selected Henke in the 1989 NFL Draft, but he was cut. The Denver Broncos drafted him, and he went on to play in Super Bowl XXIV against the San Francisco 49ers. He retired from professional football in 1994 due to a series of injuries that necessitated six ankle surgeries.
Henke started acting in 1994, with commercials as his first role. He appeared in a number of films, including October Road, Around June, The Amateurs, World Trade Center, In the Valley of Elah, Choke, Sherrybaby, Must Love Dogs, and Fury.
