Who is David Ruprecht? 

David Martin Ruprecht (born October 14, 1948) is an American actor and writer best known for hosting the game show Supermarket Sweep on Lifetime and PAX. In addition, he has appeared in some films and television shows. He has performed the live stage performance version of The Price Is Right, which he devised, in casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Mississippi, and Connecticut. In addition, he has hosted Family Feud Live.

He is now one of the hosts of The Price is Right Live Stage Show at Bally’s Las Vegas, in addition to his previous jobs. He works with Todd Newton, and the two of them formerly worked with Randy West, the announcer. Ruprecht has guest-starred on more than 50 television shows, including Three’s Company (where his character married Joyce DeWitt in the series finale) and HBO’s True Blood. He played Dan Ryan on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives for five years, from 1990 to 1992. He co-starred in the play Perfectly Frank on Broadway and Showtime and contributed voice-over work for the 1985 animated television series Yogi’s Treasure Hunt.
