She has come through a lot in her life. She married Martin Lawrence, and everything was going normal with their relationship.

This was not the first marriage of Martin, though. 

He was married to Patricia Southall. With Patricia, Martin also has children. His daughter, Jasmine Page, was born back in the year 1996 on January 15. 

He divorced Patricia after one year of the birth of Jasmine, and all fell apart.

After this, Martin moved on and started dating Shamicka, and the couple started a live-in relationship. The couple gave birth to their lovely first child (a daughter) on November 9, 2000. 

She gave birth to her second children, again a daughter, on August 20, 2002. The couple named her Amara Trinity.

The couple had not still married each other, and they finally got married on July 10, 2010. Everything was like a dream, but who knew this dream would be broken very soon. Their wedding took place at Beverly Hills. Martin has a home there. Several actors were present at the location, and few of the names are Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington.

The events was a grand one with a four-course sit-down dinner, and professionals, Tres-LA managed the event. 

This dream broke down and was shattered when the couple decided to get divorced. They got their divorce on April 25, 2012, and the reason behind it, as stated, is irreconcilable differences.

They have joint legal custody of their children.
