One of the most active spiritual leaders in the world is African-American Michael Beckwith.

He founded or co-founded several institutions dedicated to planetary healing and development, including the Association for Global Thought and the Agape International Spiritual Center.

Francis Bernard Beckwith and Alice G. Beckwith welcomed their son Michael Bernard Beckwith into the world on July 21, 1956. He tragically lost both of his parents on May 13, 2019, and March 6, 2012, respectively.

Michael attended Morehouse College for his first two years of college before transferring to USC. He then attended the Ernest Holmes College School of Ministry, where he eventually earned his degree in 1985.
