Early life

Bamji was brought into the world in Bombay, India, to a Parsi family that was living in Bahrain. His dad, Esadvaster, was the provincial delegate for the Norwich Union Life Insurance Society. His mom, Roshan, was a homemaker, and the two his folks were dynamic in different nearby causes.

Education

Bamji went to St. Christopher’s School, Bahrain, a British tuition-based school, till the age of ten. In 1977 he and his two siblings were shipped off Kodaikanal International School, an American life experience school in the mountains of South India. He later went to the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and the University of South Carolina, where he got a four-year certification in news-casting and a Master of Fine Arts.
