Ned Yost was born in Eureka, CA on August 19, 1955. Former MLB catcher who managed the Milwaukee Brewers from 2003 to 2008 then became manager of the Kansas City Royals in 2010. He helped lead the Royals to an AL Pennant in 2014 and a World Series Championship in 2015. Outfielder Alex Gordon became one of his star players both offensively and defensively on the Royals. He walked on to his college baseball team at Chabot Junior College in Hayward, California.
