Rena was born in Florida on October 1, 1976. She earned a B.Sc. in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Florida. She studied for her B.Sc. from 1997 to 2001 and had a successful time at the university. Rena went on to study Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law from 2001 to 2004. She received the same university’s George A. Spiegelberg Award in 2004.
