Greta Thunberg is a climate change protester from Stockholm, Sweden. She was born on January 3, 2003, so in 2020 she will be 17 years old.
Greta first gained attention in the summer of 2018 when she began demonstrating outside the Swedish parliament every Friday as part of a climate strike. Later, on September 20, 2019, she led the world’s first “climate attack,” and a few days later, she spoke with two of her youth colleagues at the United Nations, the US Congress, and the UK Parliament at the UN summit.
