Paul Williams is a former professional boxer from the United States who competed from 2000 until 2012. Between 2007 and 2008, he held the WBO welterweight title twice, the WBO interim junior middleweight title once, and competed for the unified middleweight title once. Williams, also known as “The Punisher,” was unusually tall for the three divisions in which he competed, standing at 6 feet 1 inch. His career was cut short in 2012 when he was paralyzed from the waist down in a motorcycle accident.
